Free wire coat hangers
As a side note to my Bubba Ho-tep entry, as I was riding home this evening I noticed about 20 wire coat hangers clinking and hopping in the middle of the road under my tires as I powered up Cedar Hill X right across from that new senior home. And I bought a new shirt the other day and was in need of an extra hanger and I at first hesitated but then squeezed the brakes and turned around and stopped and grabbed four: three of your standard, off-brass-coloured wire kind and one of the same breed but painted white. I tried to imagine all sorts of scenarios that would land such lucky fate in my hands, but all I could come up with was a truck driving by with some coat hangers in it that fell out.
A young pedestrian walking up the sidewalk looked at me funny as I stooped over my top-tube in the middle of the asphalt and collected the goods, and I couldn't decide whether to let her in on this excellent find as a form of generosity like "hey, free coat hangers, you should take some," or just say something to defer my humiliation like "Hey, free coat hangers, give me a break," so I said nothing, not being able to decide what to say and my obvious shame in being a novice garbage picker growing, and so I sprinted away into the night, the flashing red L.E.D. safety becon under my saddle becoming a gradually smaller and sadder sight in the eyes of the trailing spectator as I crested over Cedar Hill, four wire hangers swinging and clinking like trailer park chimes between the handle bars and my sweaty left palm.

I did a search on wire coat hangers and found this spot for me to put in my two cents. My hobby is braiding these wire coat hangers with Nylotex selvedge to produce a beautiful useful hanger. I would glady send you a picture!
