Lethbridge Alderwoman: The End?

Perhaps the closing credits will roll on the Lethbridge, Alberta, Alderwoman scandal that is Dar Heatherington, story today in the G&M, and mentioned on here before.

To summarize the latest news--in addition to its interesting bits about the cost of investigating her claims, the continued loyalty of a husband she's accused, and the fact that her first dissapearence was conveniently timed just before having to submit to a police polygraph regarding said stalker claims--the court ruled Heatherington fabricated her whole story and her entire experience involving abductions to Vegas, rape and a Lethbridge stalker.

The creepy thing is the article doesn't mention Heatherington having admitted guilt or mental instability during this trial. Do her silent tears leaving the courtroom beg desperation by someone who is trapped in a hell of someone else's making, an elaborate trap no one will rescue her from let alone acknowledge?

As is the fashion in fiction film these days, this story may throw us a steep, last minute curve, yet.
