I'm a designer in Vancouver, Canada. I work at the Beaty Biodiversity Museum, am a director of the 221A Artist Run Centre, and a member of Fieldwork design collective. I'm an Emily Carr and University of Victoria graduate and have worked in the Philippines, Indonesia and the Netherlands. I'm a cycling advocate and race on the Garneau Evolution team.

Nickel on some guy's underwear

I finished a game of squash on Sunday (I lost 3-2) and entered the change room. I knew I had some change in the left pocket of my jeans as I took them down from the hook where I'd left them. But I was careless and grabbed the pants from the middle, rather than from the top, and yanked them off the hook. So the jeans, they folded in half, tipping the pocket upside down. A nickel fell out and landed in the sweaty crotch of someone's underwear lying on the floor.

I realized this just as I was bending down to retrieve it. Sometimes you gotta let things go.

In reality, the nickel fell right into the crotch.
